Asalamu Alaykum 👋.
Welcome, soul kindred 🤍
You’ve just entered a sacred space
Bismillah — let’s begin
🪶 About This Space
I’m Sawfiyah — a soul who writes to understand.
This space was born from a quiet ache:
The ache of feeling too much.
Thinking too deeply.
Longing for meaning in a world that keeps pulling us into distraction and disconnection.
I write because I need to make sense of things — not just mentally, but spiritually.
Because for me, writing is a form of ʿibādah.
A way to reflect. To question. To remember.
🌿 What You’ll Find Here
This newsletter is where I share reflections that blend:
Spiritual insight
Scientific wonder (especially about the human body and nature)
Mental health & emotional honesty
Islamic reminders, rooted in Qur’an, ḥadīth, and the wisdom of those before us
Some days I write about how our cells submit to Allāh better than we do.
Other days, I explore what it means to survive hardship with your īmān still intact.
And sometimes — I just let my thoughts spill in the form of quiet duʿā.
🧠 Why I Write
Because Allāh gave us an ʿaql — a mind — not to blindly consume, but to contemplate.
And I believe writing can be one of the purest ways to think with sincerity.
I’m not here to preach.
I’m just here to think out loud — and maybe, if we’re lucky, you’ll find pieces of yourself in what I write too.
🤍 Who This Is For
This space is for you if you:
Love to reflect
Find beauty in silence and slowness
Are seeking Allāh in the little things
Think too much, feel too deeply, and write to survive it
You don’t have to be perfect. Just present.
Just open. Just trying.
May what I write reach only those it’s meant to benefit.
And may it be a means of sadaqah jāriyah for me, even after I’m gone.
Bismillah always.
— Sawfiyah
